Virgin Announces In-Flight Broadband DeploymentEntire fleet to get GoGo service by 2Q, 2009

announced their deployment schedule for Aircell's
GoGo in-flight broadband service. The company will be holding a press event November 22 to demonstrate the service, and will offer GoGo starting November 24 commercially -- albeit just on
one airplane. Broader deployment isn't expected until the second quarter of 2009, according to Virgin. Ultimately Virgin says the service will be on all of their planes, a slightly easier feat given the limited size of their fleet. Gogo service costs $12.95 for cross-country flights, and $9.95 on flights of three hours or less. Unlike other airlines, Virgin offers an outlet for each passenger.
